04

How does this report work?

How often is it updated?

Every month, around the 20th, when most sources have released their newest figures. A change of more than 15% in one month is held for a manual check before it goes live.

Why do the home price numbers differ?

They measure different things. Redfin and MLS report the median price of homes that sold that month. Zillow estimates the typical value of all homes, sold or not. Sale prices swing more from month to month.

Can I quote these numbers?
