What this site collects, and what it doesn’t

In short

You can use Boise Relocation Hub without an account, and we don’t collect your name, email or address through the site. Your checklist progress, language choice and calculator settings are saved only in your own browser. We don’t sell personal information. We use Google Analytics to count visits (see below), and we plan to add ads; this page will be updated to name any ad service before it is turned on.

How does this site handle your privacy?

Who runs this site?

Boise Relocation Hub is published by J&H Digital Services LLC, an Idaho company. You can reach us at info@boiserelocationhub.com.

What information is stored on my device?

Your checklist progress, language choice, moving-plan answers, saved guides, move-in date, city choices, "was this helpful" answers and the numbers you type into our calculators are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are there when you come back. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them on the My move page, or by clearing your browser data.

What information do others receive when I visit?

Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

Do you use cookies, analytics or ads?

Visitor statistics: yes. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to count visits and see which guides help most. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, browser details and the pages you open. We have turned off the Google advertising features and do not link this data to your name or email. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or block cookies in your browser. Ads: not yet. Before ads go live, we will update this page to name each ad service, explain the cookies it uses and link to ways to opt out.

What if I email you?

We use your email address and message only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We keep it only as long as needed and never sell or share it for marketing.

Do you sell personal information?

No. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

What about links to other sites?

Our guides link to government agencies, providers and other sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Is the site meant for children?

No. The site is written for adults planning a move and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

How will I know if this policy changes?

We will update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes, such as adding analytics or ads, will be described here before they take effect.
